Poetry
Citsitua
In the quiet shadows of my soul,
A void persists, an endless hole,
Alone I wander, night and day,
In realms where others never stay.
A mask I wear, a forced facade,
Concealing truths, emotions barred,
A language lost, my heart's refrain,
Unheard, unseen, a silent pain.
In crowded rooms, my spirit fades,
Among the laughs, in joyless shades,
Connections missed, a fleeting chance,
A ghost amidst the lively dance.
Their world, a sphere I cannot breach,
A distant shore I’ll never reach,
My thoughts, a tempest, wild and free,
But trapped within, they live with me.
A bridge to cross, a hand to hold,
A dream in stories often told,
Yet I remain, a driftless ship,
Through stormy seas, a trembling grip.
Oh, stars that light the midnight sky,
Do you not see my lonely cry?
In solitude, I’ve found my home,
In endless night, I’m free to roam.
No solace found in fleeting friends,
No balm for wounds that never mend,
An endless journey, paths unknown,
A life condemned to walk alone.
Yet in this vast, unending space,
A fragile hope I still embrace,
That one day, somewhere, someone might
Relate to me and share the light.
Till then, I drift in quiet despair,
A soul adrift, no place to share,
In shadows deep, my heart remains,
Alone, apart, in silent chains.
